Chen Yu views a product at an essential oil shop in Bangkok, Thailand, May 26, 2016. After graduating from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in 2009, Chen Yu worked in a company in Bangkok. As Chen learned that Chinese consumers' demands for commodities from Thailand have been growing, he resigned from his post in 2014 and returned to Ningbo of east China's Zhejiang Province to launch a trade enterprise with his business partners. Later Chen established cooperative links with a well-known essential oil brand in Thailand and won as the general agent for the brand in China's e-commerce platforms. Living in a community in Bangkok, Chen regards Thailand a new home for dreams and opportunities. Since the Belt and Road Initiative was put forward six years ago, the two "arches" have stretched out on land and sea.
