TEHRAN, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Zob Ahan lost a life-and-death game in the second leg of the 2019 AFC Champions League to miss a place in the quarterfinals.
In the match played at Grand Hamad Stadium on Monday evening, Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad beat Zob Ahan 4-3 and advanced to the next round of ACL competitions with a 6-4 aggregate score.
Al Ittihad had bagged a 2-1 win in the first leg last week.
Al Ittihad will face off the winners between Al Hilal and Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh on Tuesday.
