RABAT, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Army leaders of Morocco and Pakistan on Monday discussed cooperation in defense and military fields, Moroccan state TV Al-oula reported.
Moroccan Minister-Delegate for National Defense Abdellatif Loudiyi received in the capital Rabat Pakistan's Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Zubair Mahmood Hayat, who is on a working visit to the North African country.
Loudiyi discussed with Hayat ways to enhance ties of cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
They also reviewed bilateral cooperation in the field of defense and discussed ways and means to promote it.
The two officials agreed on the existence of areas of common interest that could open prospects for cooperation.
Hayat is leading a Pakistani military delegation on a four-day visit to Morocco.
