PARIS, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- FIFA and the local organizing committee will officially start the 100-day countdown to the FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019 on February 27, unveiling the Host City Posters of the nine host cities.
The event will feature some special guests unveiling the posters via a game with FIFA Women's World Cup Official Mascot ettie. The game will challenge participants to score 100 goals - each goal marking every day remaining until the tournament kicks off - with ettie as goalie between a pair of digital posts.
The official poster of the FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019 will be released on March 8, one day after individual tickets for the competition go on sale to the general public.
The FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019 will kick off between hosts France and South Korea in Paris' Parc des Princes on June 7. A total of 24 teams will compete until July 7.
