GHAZNI, Afghanistan, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Afghan forces in crackdown operations have killed 10 militants in the eastern Ghazni province over the past 24 hours, said an army statement released here Wednesday.
According to the statement, three militants were killed in the restive Andar district, and another four were killed as government forces targeted their hideout outside the provincial capital of Ghazni city; three more have been killed in Gero district.
Several militants were injured and their arms and ammunition destroyed, the statement said.
Without hinting at the possible casualties of the security personnel, the statement also noted that the operations would continue in the province.
Taliban militants haven't commented so far.
