JAKARTA, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's women's doubles pair of Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu progressed to the semifinal of the 2019 Malaysia Masters on Friday, after defeating compatriots Yufira Barkah and Jauza Fadhila Sugiarto in their quarterfinal match at Kuala Lumpur Sport City.
Polii and Rahayu won in 65 minutes with scores of 19-21, 21-12 and 21-14.
In the men's singles bracket, fellow Indonesian Anthony Sinisuka Ginting will face Olympic champion Chen Long of China on Friday.
The 2019 Malaysia Masters began on Tuesday and ends this Sunday. It is the second stop on the 2019 BWF World Tour.
