BUENOS AIRES, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- River Plate fans have bought all remaining tickets for the decisive second leg of the Copa Libertadores final, club officials said on Wednesday.
Fans snapped up the last batch of tickets within hours and demand was so intense that the ticketing website crashed several times, according to Argentine news outlets.
Only River Plate supporters are allowed to attend the Nov. 24 clash at the Monumental stadium, in line with a 2013 ban on away fans in Argentine football.
Located in the northern Buenos Aires' neighborhood of Nunez, El Monumental can seat up to 66,200 fans.
The first leg of the final, played last Sunday at Boca's La Bombonera stadium, finished in a 2-2 draw.
Boca are aiming for their seventh Copa Libertadores title while River are hoping to be champions for a fourth time.
The winners will earn the right to contest next month's FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Enditem
