KHARTOUM, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Sudan on Monday urged Saudi Arabia and Turkey to tackle the disappearance of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi "in legal and diplomatic dimensions."
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is following with great concern the disappearance of the Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul," said Sudan's foreign ministry in a statement.
The ministry reiterated Sudan's solidarity with Saudi Arabia against attempts to exploit the incident.
The Saudi dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi went missing on Oct. 2 during a visit to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
