1st LD: Turkey, Saudi leaders hold phone talk on missing journalist

ANKARA, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on late Sunday held phone talk with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, discussing the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

During the phone call, the two leaders emphasized the importance of forming a joint working group to make investigation on the case.

On Friday, a Saudi delegation arrived in Turkey for discussions on the case of Khashoggi, who disappeared after entering the kingdom's consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2. Enditem
