JAKARTA, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- No. 2 seed and defending champion Wang Qiang made last four after beating Indonesia's Aldila Sutjiadi 6-4, 6-3 in women's singles quarterfinals of the Asian Games tennis tournament on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old Wang needed only one hour and 20 minutes to triumph against the host player after powering 27 winners in the match.
Wang, ranked 53rd in the world, was in a different league and never faced real challenge against her opponnet.
The Asian Games, attracting more than 10,000 athletes, will run through Sept. 2.
