BERLIN, July 31 (Xinhua) -- Siemens hopes to enhance exchanges with partners and customers from across the world, and add on new momentum to global economic development through the upcoming China International Import Expo (CIIE).
In a recent interview, Lothar Herrmann, CEO of Siemens Greater China, said: "This year marks the 40th anniversary of China's historical opening and reform. The CIIE is a strong gesture of China to commit to continuing opening-up in a new era of globalization."
As a long-standing partner for China, Siemens welcomes and appreciates China's efforts in opening-up, Herrmann added.
He introduced that on the new platform of CIIE, Siemens intends to present the leading technologies, comprehensive portfolio and proven project competencies along the entire value chain of electrification, automation, and especially, digitalization.
According to Herrmann, Siemens has set up a special taskforce to integrate resources internally and enhance interactions with external stakeholders in order to present the "best" of Siemens at CIIE that is to open in Shanghai in November.
