TEHRAN, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday called for promotion of cooperation with France on the regional and international issues, Tasnim news agency reported.
In a message to his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, Rouhani expressed congratulations on France's annual national day which is celebrated on July 14.
The Iranian president expressed the hope that mutual cooperation between Tehran and Paris will strengthen their age-old relations at the bilateral, regional and international levels.
Rouhani also called for further cooperation to counter unilateralism pursued by certain countries over the global issues.
