LONDON, June 20 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.31 percent, or 23.55 points, to close at 7,627.40 points.
Ocado Group, an online grocer, soared 5.55 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Imperial Brands and Sky increased by 3.20 percent and 3.14 percent, respectively.
Berkeley Group Holdings,a British property developer, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 5.90 percent.
