BUENOS AIRES, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Teenage forward Arthur Gomes scored a first-half goal as Brazil's Santos rose to the top of their Copa Libertadores group with a 1-0 victory over Argentine side Estudiantes on Thursday.
The 19-year-old tapped in from close range for the visitors after Eduardo Sasha's shot rebounded off the post following a counter-attack.
The result left Santos with two wins and a loss from three matches, two points ahead of Estudiantes, who are second in Group F.
In Santiago, a second-half strike from Jose Arismendi and an own goal from Carlos Carmona gave Ecuador's Delfin a surprise 2-0 victory over Chilean giants Colo-Colo.
In other matches on Thursday, Colombia's Santa Fe held River Plate to a goalless draw in Buenos Aires and Bolivian outfit Bolivar won 1-0 at home to Colombian side Atletico Nacional.
