YANGON, July 25 (Xinhua) -- A 4.2-magnitude jolts Myanmar's southern Bago region late Wednesday, said the meteorology and hydrology department.
The earthquake struck at 20:53 local time (1423 GMT), the department said.
Its epicenter was located 53 km northeast of Taungoo city and 63.6 km southeast of the Nay Pyi Taw seismological observatory.
No further details were reported so far.
