NAY PYI TAW, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar and India on Friday signed some agreements and memorandums of understanding on bilateral cooperation in Nay Pyi Taw.
The signing took place following talks between Myanmar State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi and visiting Indian Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj.
The package included an agreement on border crossing and a memorandum of understanding on maintenance of pagodas in Myanmar's Bagan destroyed by earthquake, among others.
Swaraj, who arrived Nay Pyi Taw Thursday, had met with President U Win Myint. The pair vowed to cooperate in trade and investment sectors as well as in upgrading the socio-economic life of people.
